Has anyone else seen the demo of this on the Magic Geek site. It looks really good. Chris is performing this in the streets and it is blowing their minds. Looks like it can be used for multiple effects. I for one have to have this.

Just ordered it this week. I will give a review once it arrives and I get a chance to play for a while

Wow! Just to show how perceptions can vary greatly, I absolutely hated the demo! Well, at least the street part of it.
From about 0:30 in to about 1:05 or so, where it shows all the visuals up fairly close, is very good. But the street demo part of it is typical, trying to build excitement without showing anything about the effect. You put some kids - sometimes more than a little tipsy - in front of a camera and perform just about anything and they act pretty much the same: laughing, cursing, acting a little silly; they are fooled but it looks like tying your shoe would fool them too! Nothing really wrong with any of that except it's supposed to be a product demo but it doesn’t show much about the product! The effect itself looks interesting though now that I have viewed a few other demos it might be a little more limited than I at first thought. I'll be getting it though; I'm a sucker for gimmicks! I had to order this when I saw the demo. I'd love to get Tool also but for me this looks like something I'd use more. I totally agree with you J-Mac. This seems to be a bit of a trend in magic trailers:- show all the "amazing reactions" while barely showing us any of what we are watching the trailer for; the effect! I understand that edits are often used to help ensure we can't just slow down the footage and work out the method, but in this case I can't see how that would apply.

Fin, I realize that the "street magic" look of the screaming crowd does appeal to some - probably more so to those younger and newer to magic. But I want to see the effect!

This looks almost the same as the TOOL.
I have the tool, and what I do is color changing deck and ace production only. As I have seen on demo, I wouldn't agree it is better than Tool, probably same, with less space to cover the gimmick. |

Gary Jones has convinced me to pick this up today!
I don't normally work with the box so it is better than tool for me Looking forward to it! |
