Brothers and Sisters,
Ever since I've bought Scott Imler's LOTTO VISION . . . I just can't stop coming up with applications for it. Thank you Scott for one of the most brilliant new principles in magic. All of your hard work in this NEW MIRACLE is well appreciated. And I predict that it will become one of the most popular pieces of close-up magic in a LONG TIME. For those of you who havn't seen it here is a link: http://www.scottimler.com/lottoVision.html I've been performing it now for 3 months. As you know from my controvercial GONE! posts, I'm not much of a card guy. But, when it comes to LOTTO VISION, that's one card trick that I HAVE TO DO! Lotto Vision is now my closing trick. I sometimes use it with an invisible deck and/or John Cornelius' thought transmitter. It has fooled EVERYONE that I've shown in to so far. It floored all of the guys at Hollywood magic. I was wondering if anyone else in the Café had played with LOTTO VISION, and what are your thoughts on it? Scott keep up the good work, I can't wait to see what your diabolical mind will come up with next. thanks, Greg Rostami Click here to view attached image. |

I seen it in real life and wasn't really happy with it. My family reaction were even worse, is the pricable worth the price of a trick that I would never use?
Thanks, Lee |

Hey Lee
I guess the best trick in the world would have no value if you do not use it so I can not argue with that point. I will say that we have sold a lot of them and it went over well at the PCAM convention. For an unbiased review heres a link at http://www.online-visions.com GO to current issues and scroll down to Whats In the Shop. Greg thanks for the kind words it goes to show that one trick will not always please the masses. I stopped fighting that years ago. Scott Imler Sory I do not want to send you guys on a goose chase. It is in a section called "At the Shop" not What's in the shop Scott |

"Everything can be examine"
Does that include the deck? This peeks my interest, but not if it involves a trick deck. I don't mind stacks, as long as the deck is normal. So can "everything" be truly examined? |

It's a cool trick but the set-up and all the time needed to do the trick would be very hard if your spectator doesn't have a lot of patience

Hi gilbreath76,
YES, everything can be truly examined. The way that I do it, you can even BORROW the deck! I do it much faster then what Scott shows on his demo video . . . I think he's doing it that slow to BE AS FAIR AS POSSIBLE. My presentation is: 1. Show the lottery machine and show the power ball is too big for the holes. 2. Spectator picks a card face down (normal pick a card from a fan). . . puts it aside . . .no one knows the identity of the selected card. 3. Spectator pores balls from canister into machine. 4. Plate is lowered, Spectator looks under power ball and announces where it landed. 5. The chosen card is shown to be THE SAME. 6. Wait for applause!! There is only one part of the props that is slightly gimmicked, BUT Scott has been kind enough to provide an ungimmicked version, for those of us who prefer sleight of hand. I do the trick with the gimmick, mainly because it is SOOO STRONG that no one suspects anything. I think if you compare the number of steps in Lotto Vision with any other "pick a card" trick, you'll see that they both have the same number of steps. later days, Greg Rostami |
