I continue to be amazed at the number of terrific books that have come out this year and continue to come out. This is just my opinion, but I think this has been a much better year for books than DVDs. That's good to see.

So many seem to harken the demise of "the book," but they seem to keep coming out (and are purchased) more than ever. I've been picking up new titles faster than I can read them, in fear that they'll be out of print and hard to find soon. But it's nice to have such a treasure of brilliant thinking to dip into as time allows.
Now appearing nightly in my basement.
