That's my point. Just offer an explanation. I went to the I Want to see the Manager forum and this question was asked and locked. It is obvious by that action alone the moderators want to keep it on the downlow and offer no explanation. Frustrating.....very frustrating.

1. did the thread violate any Café rules?
2. Who benefits from the thread vanishing? 3. was there some sort of information that threatened financial gain/sales/reputation? 4. does it hold up the "magicians helping magicians" credo ? (since the Café is sometimes about "magicians helping magicians make sales") |

Alan,
At the end of episode 3 of Fool Us they were showing little previews of episode 4. I believe I saw you in the preview. Does this mean that you're on episode 4? Can't wait to watch if this is the case. |

An online community is just that - a community with all the politics and baggage that goes with it.
I personally don't like the heavy handedness - it demeans the quality and goals that the Café seemed to once aspire to.

Well there ya go. That note is enough for me -- I dislike flaming and have no issue with such threads being locked. Next time hopefully they will just have the last note be from a Mod stating "thread closed due to flaming"

Flaming threads can't just be locked. They often tread close to being slander. Such slander can cause legal problems for the Café, hence they will delete them.
