Hello all,
I have both copies of Abbott's Encyclopedia of Rope Magic, Volume 1 and 2. I'd love to hear your thoughts on these books and if you believe there are better books out there or if these are classic with great effects. |

I have the Abbotts encyclopedia of rope tricks vol 1, I have the Stewart James encyclopedia of rope tricks, I have the Karl Fulves self-working rope magic book, and I have Daryl's three DVD set expert rope magic made easy. I highly recommend all of these sources, because they each have stuff in them that the others don't have.

The Stewart James Encyclopedia of Rope Tricks is a compilation of Abbotts Vol 1, 2, & 3, but you will probably have a hard time finding vol 3.

The encyclopedia of rope tricks stewart james is great. All book mentioned are going to do the job. One thing I found helped is Darlys DVD set on rope magic. The book is great but I just found it hard to pictuer but darlys DVD helped.
Enjoy your magic,
and let others enjoy it as well! |

And time for other things as well, hey Al.
What is the difference between The Stewart James version of The Encyclopedia of rope tricks at 450+ pages and The Abbott version of The Encyclopedia of rope tricks at 400 pages in the hardbound edition? Was new material added? Craig

When someone askes a rope magic question I usually jump right in, even if someone asked the same question 6 months ago, and thank God my answers are consistent.
