In this Weeks Show,
French illusionists Cubic Act, who use a magical box on stage, Michael Vincent back for a 2nd Shot a Fooling P & T (Look out for another Email form Peter Nardi as soon as the show ends !) Victorian magicians Morgan & West And award-winning performer Nick Einhorn End Item is with P & T when The duo also perform a trick involving a nailgun This promises to be the most interesting Episode as so far 2 people (Jon Allen and Alan Hudson) have claimed they Did Fool P&T, but just accepted that they did not Fool Them on TV) The act that wins this week, well did not fool me and did not fool a lay person that was also in the audience; however this act insisted that Penn did not get the secret method and are off to Vegas ! This will be very interesting to see how this is shown on TV |

Both jon (on Magic Café) and Alan on another magic forum have stated they did actually Fool P&T
It is not clear why they did this I am only stating the facts |

In this Weeks Show,UP DATE French illusionists Cubic Act, who use a magical box on stage, fooled Penn but Not Teller Michael Vincent back for a 2nd Shot a Fooling P & T, but did not fool them And award-winning performer Nick Einhorn - Fooled P&T Penn said he did not have a clue !, well done to Nick great act and well deserved End Item is with P & T when The duo also perform a trick involving a nailgun As advised This show was the most interesting Episode as so far 2 people (Jon Allen and Alan Hudson) have claimed they Did Fool P and T but just accepted that they did not Fool Them on TV) The act that also won this week, well did not fool me and did not fool a lay person that was also in the audience; Penn spoted a deck switch however Victorian magicians Morgan & West insisted that P and t not get secret method and they did not do a deck switch however it still looks like it to me anyway they are off to Vegas ! Once again well done to nick einhorn |

I enjoyed the episode this week. Though I wasn't that impressed with Morgan & West. Nicholas Einhorn was awesome though!

Since Johnny Thompson is the Adjudicator for the show couldn't Jon have said no and had Johnny back him up?

To me I agree it also looked fishy as West's hands disappeared as Jonathan Ross was getting seated - then the big reach into the bag on the floor, slight fumble fumble... I mean as P&T said it just looked suspicious and unnatural. In re-watching it didn't look like a red herring either. My guess is that these two scientists may have been splitting hairs on the method used - or perhaps where a change was made. Maybe not the deck but something else. But it did not look clean to my eyes, and of all the acts that night to me they were easily the weakest and seemed a little out of their league compared with the quality of the others on this episode. Hope they enjoy Vegas!

The Einhorm routine is superb but I was not impressed by his charcater (mater of taste)
The victorian magician was for me a little bit boring , ok I confess, I don't like card trick

Morgan and west did something fishy, and the routine didn't do it for me either.
einhornhorn's routine was very good, something you would expect from derren. |

Nick Einhorn was what I had been wanting to go through, not the nonsense from last week and not the victorian fellas, felt they were very pushy and the effect was entirely lacking.
Fooling is clearly hard to define but forms of standard are obvious. Nick was pretty fooling, Penn summed it up pretty well, some bits are pretty straight forward, some not so much. There are many many ways to recreate something as the Victorians did, not on the same level as Nick's effect.

Agreed...The Victorians I thought were poor, and even my missus said afterwards 'Was that the trick?'...Nick Einhorns was a very good effect, though unless I am miles off the mark, not that difficult to work out with minor mentalism knowledge...but again, I could be miles off!

To me Einhorn's effect seemed extremely fair. The twist was the continuation of apparent randomness until the last moment. I don't think Penn and Teller were just trying to be nice.
I mean yes I could see where some well known mentalism devices could have been used, but then the constant choice options seemed to close the doors on the obvious stuff. This is what mentalism should look like - bravo.
