I know this has been discussed before but every time I click on the search link to find it, my computer freezes. Any ways I was thinking about getting this effect. What does everyone think of this.I,as of the rest of you i'm sure, knew pretty much how it worked; but will it fool laymen.I am mainly getting it to give Reed's work credit. Also can you please post a link to where this has been discussed.
Thank you, Zack |

Lee's is tough to do. Reed's is at chest level, easier and a bit more magical.

Apparently, from what I've heard from another friend of mine, Reed is going to stop selling the McClintock Twist video for some reason. I haven't confirmed this yet, though. But better grab your copy now just in case, it is an extremely good video, I find it more angly but better than the Asher Twist.

I've heard that too. Reed evidentally regrets ever releasing it.

I'm not really familiar with the handling of twisting the aces except for waving the aces by Guy Holingworth because that is the only one I do.Could someone please PM me and tell me if reed's version truly uses 4 aces.If you can't I truly understand.I'm not asking for any secrets.

I've seen Reed present this in his lecture. It as an extremely graceful move, that is very deceptive. I watched him do it about a dozen times, even after I knew exactly what he was doing, it was pure magic to see.
I believe that it is published on VHS by L&L. Reed wants to buy back the rights and reissue it on DVD. |

Reed regrets releasing this video, but Chazpro has the rights to it. If he could Reed would take it off the market.
It uses 4 aces only.

Until Reed does comment on any of this about taking it off the market, it is all speculation. Some rumors become true and some don't. I at least think that you should give him the benefit of presenting his case, good or bad, before spreading any more rumors.

Hi guys I appreciate all of the kind words about this sleight. I am afraid its true however, I am going to buy the rights back from Chazpro. I want to pull it off the market. I wish I never let it go, and it is a piece I want back. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......;forum=2 Doesn't seem like a rumour to me. |

Heh . Well I guess that clears a lot up. I had just seen rumors floating around, and to this point no one has bothered to give a reliable source. Guess it doesn't get much more reliable than the inventor of the effect.

Reed told me this information himself on the phone, when I was lucky enough to have him call me. We had a nice chat!
