So I read that this DVD not only offers material to master, but insight into the nature of the industry. I had done table magic at three different restaurants twenty years ago, but I'm no longer a cute teenager, and thought that I could use some insights into the nature of the job, and negotiating the best situation for both myself and the management.
The CD was entire disappointing. Paul looks bored, as does his audience. Most of the material (five effects) is as common as the first effect (tt), and equally exciting/original. He even advocates doing the exact same routine all the time. I can't imagine a stance more contrary to mine. His tips for the business are something anybody who speaks English could have said. But other than that, it was swell. Did anybody really like this? ATPG
