I remember the incredible rush I got the first time I showed someone a routine. I still get it. It is what drives me to keep learning more. Getting talked into showing someone a trick is one of the best things in my life.

Hi Khal and everyone!
Isn't it a great feeling when it all comes together like that? Ya know, I don't perform much any more. Only when it's "right". Magic is special. I just had something happen the other day at the library. A little girl, her brother and her mom came into the library, and the kids were kinda being a pain to Mom. So I got their attention and made my pen vanish. That was the beginning of about 15 minutes of just performing with two house keys! That's all I had! I ended with the key vanishing from a folded piece of paper, and I heard applause from the front desk! Wow. I had no idea two darn little house keys could entertain so much! It made my day!! Doug |

Congratulations! Thanks for reminding me of my experience. We're all lucky to have found the power and beauty of magic. Treat it as something precious and both you and your spectator's will feel the rewards.

Congrats. I've done a few small things with coins for people, and it's been such a blast. I've learned a lot of lessons rather quickly. Don't let anybody pressure you into doing anything you're not comfortable with. And also watch your angles. If you haven't looked at some of your vanishes from each side, don't perform them if someone is standing directly on both sides of you.

And Rising Card is good too! Not your everyday "card tricks"! By the way, welcome to The Magic Café, MISS J! Doug |
