I will perform this on the 29th of this month at a good size show. I'm very excited and I will let you know how it goes. This is a great prop and I love it.
Good magic to all, Eric |

What forces using the double stick tape are you using for this effect other than the classic force that Rich suggessted? I have not got the classic force down yet.

Dumb question but I have to ask it. Is this safe? Any chance of it catching my fingers?

I recently received mine and while it is a terrific effect, I had a problem. After the fourth practice try, the small spring on right side came loose from the wooden base, and loosened from the "metal snap" portion of the trap. The gimmick is very well constructed, but the spring is poorly done. I think I can re-glue, but a disappointment at cost. Especially when compared to similar priced Industrial Revelation which is beautifully conceived and executed. I know they are totally different but the contrast in handling of sales between this producer and Jamie Grant (IR) were also world's apart with Jamie being exceptional to deal with.
That being said I do like Rat Trap even though I was disappointed. |

Hello, is anyone selling theirs?
I bought it on Rich’s website. After 10 days of waiting for an update I sent him an email and he replied that it was unfortunately out of stock and not manufactured anymore. It’s still listed as available on his website so be sure to check with him first. Thanks Patrick |
