Hi,
I am a 42-year old man from Norway (no, this is not a dating ad ) working in the SW industry. During the last few years I've taken up my long-neglected hobby, performing for children and families. |

I have been doing 20th century brassiere trick for a few years, but I've been careful with whom I have done it on (I have never done it to anybody that I have not spoken to before the show, though I have not mentioned that I'd take them up on stage and pull their bra off). I'm getting the laughs, but I feel I'm crossing the line, as the spectator often becomes embarrassed. This is not a good way to motivate more people to help on stage.
I think about changing to something more subtle, like a "do as I do" effect, where both the spectator and I should vanish a silk each and have it reappear between the silks tucked down the top of our shirts. The effect should be that she manages to get it right, and I end up pulling up her bra tied between the silks from my shirt, instead of the vanished silk. Any suggestions for how to make it clear that it must be her bra, and how to let her vanish her silk? |

Hi Bjarne. There is a nice one with big boxer shots instead of a bra.
You can do it to yourself. Tuck the 2 silks under your belt to hold them. Vanish silk. (I do a few comedy screw ups first) Vanish silk, pull hard and wide on one end of tied silks (whip it)and a big pair of striped boxers is in the middle. This way YOU are the victim so no one gets hurt. P.S. If you can't find the one I'm talking about I can get them for you. Just P.M. me. |

Thanks, Phil,
Thanks a lot for your offer to get the boxers for me. It is really appreciated. I have often wanted to buy things from America and found that the shop only ships to North America. Thanks again. Thanks for the tip about the boxers. I have actually considered doing it solo, and maybe I will. But I can't let the go of the idea of using female underwear. I want it to be as big of a surprise as possible without provoking any individual (at least not too much). I get the feeling that pulling out my own underwear is less dramatic than pulling out somebody else's, so if I can pull it off I'd prefer it, given that it clicks with the audience. |

Di fatta makes a nice large pair of woman's shorts. (Not fat...nice)
He's in Italy. I'm not really a shop but sell mainly to students. Future, past and present. You could still work it out with a lady assistant. Now you have a different avenue to go. Toss it around I'm sure you can come up with a racy but classy adult comedy bit for it. |

Why don't you try taking a bra of a man? that might be funnier and less of a worry...
