I live in Washington, number two spot on the list. I arrived here via UFO, so what's your point?

Compare this with the population statistics for US states.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S......pulation An almost identical distribution. I.e., the more people there are in an area, the more UFO reports you get. Duh! Mike |

True, Mike. But it's still interesting that Washington State (where the first UFO sightings in modern times were reported) is 13th in population, but 2nd in most UFO sightings. It is a strange place, believe me. I've been stuck here for 23 years. (There's that pesky 23 again.)
Good thoughts, Bob |

How about comparing that chart to one of Bigfoot sightings. That would make more sense to me than a population graph would.

Unidentified flying objects?
I've seen many of those... Especially at drunken parties...

Another interesting distribution to compare it to is military installations.
http://www.nps.gov/nagpra/documents/basesmilitarymap.htm Bob - Washington comes out high on these. So you could propose that UFO sightings correlates with number of military installations x population. Mike |
