Thanks for the info. I will give this a try. I am heavily into the marketing frame of mind at this time. I will retire from the NAVY in around 16 months and plan to start my birthday business when I get back to Hawaii.

Thanks for the tip. So who in the Café has an opinion on Dave Dees materials?
"What's your drug?" she asked. "Hope" he said, "The most addicting one of all."

You don't even want to go there. This group is highly opinionated on Dave Dee in both directions. Those who are his extreme followers. Those who aren't and have tried his products and they are a mixed bag both ways.

I beg to differ.
I too am really into the marketing frame of mind. As a graphic designer and artist, I wanted to learn the other side of marketing so I can combine both talents to really work better in my favor for my own magic business. Thedean.net is a WONDERFUL web site for anyone truely serious about their magic and how marketing can be a tool in their magic business toolbox. Yes they have strong opinions, but do not mistake strong opinions as people having attitude problems. This is certainly not the case at all. They are great people there who really care about their magic and hopw marketing can and have helped them. Their information and resources that are discussed ihn the forums, is so valuable, that to even get that information for FREE is amazing to me. There is no one perfect system for marketing. You must go there, collect your own data and research and simply TAKE ACTION! By trying the methods and ideas, you will soon begin to see that they really DO work. But take the effort to learn, read and see what it can do for you. It is free and so why wouldn't yuou want to invest some time into learning and trying it for yourself.

Kyle:
I wasn't referring to thedean.net, I use that myself. Having met Dean myself I think he is a great guy and have nothing but good to say about Dean and his site. I was referring to not going there to start a discussion about Dave Dee and his products. it is a highly polarized and opinionated subject matter.

Awww I now understand. Thank you Martin for clearing that up for me. My mistake. I guess everyone has to take and evaluate each system for them and see what works best.
I too have started using the dean's web site and have enjoyed it thoroughly. I am happy to see you do as well.
