I have just checked out this luminous dancing cane.

it has a wonderful price and as I showed at the video it looks very good.

http://www.world-of-magic.co.uk/Wonder_W......6591.asp

it does not have the ordinary led style but it does look good. comparing to the other ones that cost from 100 to 300 bucks this may be a very very good choice.

any thoughts?

Yes , this is my basic concern. it says it requires 2 ÁÁÁ batteries and I do not know how it can affect the balance.

Hi Allan,Harris
I have just purchased this item from World Of Magic, after trawling the magic sites for a Dancing Cane that looked good but with no luck.Dancing canes seem to be a bit scarce in the u.k and do not relish the thought of purchasing one from Hong Kong. Then the wonder wand came along so thought I would order it and see how I get on.
when I receive it and have given it a go I will let you know what I think.

Hi blackeyejoe,

I too am in the UK and have been pondering on the Wonder Wand. Would love to hear your thoughts. With glow juggling props dropping in price dramatically over the past ten years it's about time glow magic props followed suit.

I hope it handles as well as it seems to in the video.

This is more of a cane.
The batteries do not affect the balancing since one goes on each end.

I have watched the dvd and played with it.
This is my first dancing... anything. So I can't compare.

Making the stuff the right length and right for you is a chellenge for me. I guess my eyes are getting old! Lol
But I was playing with it and my two kids were amazed! I didn't realize they were watching me. One is 11 and one is 5. They love it!!!! Had no clue and enjoyed it. And I do NOT have the main move down yet.

Lighting is important. But I would guess that's for all canes? He covers the lighting as well.

I believe this is well worth the price. It is plastic. But you can't tell in the dark. And who cares.

Its lite and he shows you a few ways to set it up and why to set up in various ways.

You adjust it to your liking and the dvd is very thorough. He has been using dancing canes for years so he is truly an expert and does well on the instructions.
