Even better if you replace choice C with 0%.

If your randomizer isn't squarely distributed, any of them could be the answer. Example: Your randomizer shows A 10% of the time, B 10% of the time, C 60% of the time and D 20% of the time, then C will be the correct answer. It's still considered a random process even though it's not squarely distributed.

There is no meaningful question, so no correct answer.

Meaningful or not, it is a selfreferencing question that could have a correct answer. Had the options been 25% 10% 20% and 30% and a square distribution specified, the correct answer would have been A, wether you find the question meaningful or not.

OK, the only meaningful answer, I think, is "0%" - i.e., none of the options given. The question does not specify that your answer must be A or B or C or D. In fact if you choose any of these, your answer will be wrong - therefore the correct answer must be "0%".

If you made a formula for this question in Excel, you would get a circular reference error because you need to make reference to the answer itself to answer the question. To answer the question correctly would cause a paradox which could potentially end all that we know. All that ever was, would never have been and all that never was would stay as it was.
Only my opinion though. Tim |
