My favorite bunny of all time passed away last Friday. He was a Netherland Dwarf Himilayan, and he lived to be 9 years, 7 months and 2 days old. Not only was he my favorite, but out of the 8 magic bunnies I have owned, he was by far the best.
I began breaking in his replacement over 2 years ago, and I fully retired him last year. At the time of his retirement he was still a great magic performing bunny, but he would whimper sometimes when he was handled, so I felt it may be causing him pain. I suspected he was developing arthritis, so I took him out of my shows completely. This little bunny performed with me in a countless number of shows, and brought lots and lots of joy to many people during his lifetime. I'm really going to miss him. R.I.P. Thanks Michael. I buried him in the woods at a peaceful spot under a tree, and beside a mossy-covered rock.

Thanks. This is definitely the worse part about owning pets.

I am so sorry, Regan. R.I.P. Haredini. I am sure Haredini is bounding through the grassy fields of the Spirit World with Mr. Easter, my French Angora sidekick.
Wonder is very necessary in life. When we're little kids, we're filled with wonder for the world - it's fascinating and miraculous. A lot of people lose that. They become cynical and jaded, especially in modern day society. Magic renews that wonder.

Thanks Autumn. I hope Haredini and Mr. Easter do meet up.

Sad to hear of your loss Regan. It is really something to see that not all rabbits or birds take to performance the same way. When you have a trouper it means a whole lot. You gave it a perfect farwell setting.

Thanks Doc. I really did love the little guy. You're right, there is a big difference in how some rabbits and doves perform. Haredini seemed to know when it was show time. He basically loaded and set himself, and when he made his appearance he was always at the front ready to come out the door. After taking a peak he would usually raise up on his hind legs through the top door of my production box and look around. He was a special one.

My sympathy to you Regan.
I know what it's like to lose a favorite bunny. I lost my Lucy a year to be exact. Just like Haredini, that Lucy put my business card in the children out streached hands. Eventually your new bunny will grow on you and you will love her just as much ans Haredini. Tricky Ricky |

There is only one Haredini and he will always be with you and live in the memories of all those he so joyfully entertained.
