I'm in the process of adding music and possibly sound effects to my show. I realized that I can't think of the best place to put the remote I'm using. For some tricks it works fine in my pocket, for other moments I don't have time to reach into my pocket. I thought about attaching it to the table, but I may not necessarily be by it when I need it. Has anyone experimented with unique places aside from pant or jacket pockets?

Attached by Velcro on the inside of my jacket where my hand would be at rest. I just curl a finger under the jacket and hit the right button.
I am getting so tired of slitting the throats of people who say that I am a violent psychopath.

I had a wireless remote made to control my sound that went on (the middle arc part) my old hand-held wireless mic. It worked well for quite a while but since the mic died, it will not work with the new one so I'm back to trying to find someone who can fashion a new one to the design of the new mic.

My ijet came with a clip for the remote. I just clip it on my belt, under my vest....

Mine goes in my right front pants pocket where I can hit it through the material when my hand is at rest. I should mention that I use a remote with only one large button as my computer is preprogrammed for all of the fades, track advances, etc. Also I preprogram various silent spaces at the start of certain tracks to allow me to trigger the remote, then have the music come on a few seconds later when my hands are no where near it.
If I use a remote with multiple buttons, I usually glue a bead on the main one to makee it easier to feel through the cloth.

I wear it in my breast shirt pocket. For whatever reason I found that to be most convenient for me. It is triggered with one touch as well.

I wear my VSM remote on my belt...under my vest. Very easy access.

My Maxell P-21's all use the same frequency. You can keep one mounted on the optional holder. (that also has a compartment that I keep a spare battery in) The holder keeps the thing oriented properly in my pocket so I can use it through my pants. You can also put one on the table or velcro it just under the lip, etc.
