<<Bigger doesn’t always mean better. Making things out of steel, however, generally means cooler. Cases in point, these Nesting Steel Shot Cups. Made of 24 gauge, 1008 cold rolled steel, these shot cups are big quality in a small package, and since you get four of the cups with every order, there’s plenty of room for all kinds of []. Stack the cups somewhere convenient until you need them, then throw them in the dishwasher (or against the wall) once you’ve used them. The Made in the USA cups are so durable you’ll probably end up passing them down to your kids.

Thanks for showing these.
Those are real nice. These are from the same place but are slightly larger. Looks like they're ready to stack dice. http://shop.coolmaterial.com/collections......-glasses |

That store has some products with great magical possibilities - and those steel shot cups are awesome! Recently here on the Café, we have seen many a topical discussion as to whether or not Cups and Balls are overdone, whether they have seen their better days, etc. If they are in fact overdone, they are not always done well, and that can just as easily turn a crowd off to them as over-performing can.
I mention this here because the other day I was doing a short set with the mini Fox cups and there were three magicians (all three of which are VERY good C&B performers, by the way) in the crowd. All three of them said some of the elements look familiar to them, but they could not figure out what I was doing in other parts, and two of them had never seen such small cups. A few of the spectators even said they had seen a lot of Cups and Balls performers, but nothing like what I had just done. It just goes to show you that using different vessels or balls (like with a Benson Bowl routine), or even a smaller set of cups from time to time, you can change the perception of the audience and in turn, keep it fresh. Just my observations based on my recent experiences... |
