Lovely cups and wands.
Also agree with Bill - it's a pleasure browsing such a well designed site
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler

The Thuya Burr Wood is my latest favourite, the look is unusually attractive. According to Gareth, it's quite scarce. What a find!

I agree, the thuya burr wood is quite striking! I think Colin Rose has used that as well. I've turned wood myself, but for me I barely approached the craft level and only dreamed of the artistic level achieved by Gareth, Colin Rose, John Dahms and other great wood turners. Those are really nice cups.
Magic is where you find it.....

What beautiful work. The Camelot Chalice would be my choice. Lovely, simply lovely.

I promised a review of Gareth's Large Elegance Chop Cup In Cocobolo wood. I have used the cup now at the past 3 corporate Christmas parties and I can honestly say it is the best chop cup I have ever owned. Let me tell you why.
It looks a million dollars, the colour and grain of the wood is beautiful. This is not an accident either, as a professional Cabinet maker here in England - with some very exclusive clients on his books, Gareth knows who to bring the best out of wood. His wood turning skills and joints are 5 star. I have no idea how he got the mag*** inside this cup. The finish of the cup is as smooth as silk. There is a fantastic weight to the cup, not to light or heavy, just right to give it that quality feel. This will last a life time and then some. Size wise the cup fits my hand perfectly and it is a joy to load. It takes 'fab fruit' easily. The cup comes with a set of hand made balls by Danis and you can adjust the chopped ball to what ever attraction you prefer. I use heavy leather balls and Gareth custom made my cup to fit the balls for a firm hold. This is one of the advantages of working with a skilled craftsman. The whole outfit comes in a beautiful blue lined bag in which you can store your cup and you are even given a small pot of wax to keep your cup looking in showroom condition. Gareth is a gentleman to do business with and his products are just the best. He is fast becoming recognized as one of the worlds best wood workers for magic props and this is a good thing as we can all benefit from better working tools. There are not too many Lassen's ,Riser's ,Gerlitz's (to name but a few) so let's spread the word and help get this young mans work before more magicians and collectors. What does "POA" stand for? I'm not familiar with that acronym. Is that something like "call for price"?

I'm going to guess the last two words are "on availability." The first word might be "Priced"
I think you're pretty safe with "call for price."

It means "Price On Application."
