How many minutes do we need to wait between puffs of smoke until you can create another puff of smoke with the pure smoke device? Mine seems to require waiting five minutes between puffs.

Yours is broken. You should be able to do it immediately.
I am getting so tired of slitting the throats of people who say that I am a violent psychopath.

Ugh, that's the second one I got that didn't work then. Thanks for the response.

Actually this item is great, the big flaw is in how many times you use it per performance, in this case less is more.
If you puffing away all night, you'll have people grabbing at your arms and smiling. If you used it once per performance you will see the difference. MHO |

OK, I got it working. Just required using it again and again until it started to work.

I was hoping that there would be general review of this product on Magic Café - of course on the Ellusionist site - the reviews are rave.
Has anyone used this from Stage? Or would this be considered strickly a close-up experience. Any info is greatly appreciate - Ellusionist did a great job on the video. I can't imagine a Magician on the planet not wanting it. |

Sean,
Here's my review: The pure smoke device does as they advertises..it creates puffs of smoke. It is a little cumbersome. You have a series of tubes going up your arms as well as the power-supply that you have to carry in a pocket somewhere. Yes, the pump is pretty noisy, but if you use it in a noisy place, like a night-club with attractive women, then it's no problem. My biggest complaint with it is that there is a little cartridge that attaches (if you can even use that word) at the bottom of the tube. Smoke emits from this cartridge. This cartridge falls off with the least of any effort! Since the tube and cartridge are up your sleave, you won't even realize that the cartridge has even fallen off until you find yourself on the other side of the casino, or wherever you may be! It is really cool and fun to play with, although so far my responses to the smoke have been a little mediocre (perhaps fault of the wet blanket specatators more than the device? I'll have to use perform it more to find out for sure). There is a great temptation to repeat the trick again and again, since it's so easy to do so. Of course, if you start doing that, everyone will immediately start suspecting something up your sleave. |

I just got mine and it works super. I watched the instructions carefully, and thought I had it. I too at first had the end fall off. There is a notch in the end piece to line it up. It's hard to see since everything is black, but once I got it under some good light and saw where they line up it snapped in tight just like the instructions said. I had one of the Ultra smoke and liked it except for the side effects( which were really bad). This PURE unit is really well thought out. It's in my act now.

I have mine and it's terrible quality it give second smoke after 2-3 minutes. To my friend the send it with doesn't work automizer. It seems that the ellusionist doesn't want to made a good quality products and doesn't hold the responsibility for the quality.
