Best two dancing cane routines I have seen:
1: Ken Brooke - he danced funny and the cane was incedental... 2: An unknown Frenchman I saw some years ago in Switzerland... he started to do dancing cane and cane went wild and started to beat on him, knocking him to the floor. NOW my freinds.... If you know anything about thread and lighting fine... if you don't and you are one of those that DIMS THE LIGHTS just before you do the trick... forget it... throw it out... And, if your can routine looks like 99% of the ones you have seen before... forget it... throw it out... And, if your routine last more than 20 seconds... forget it... throw it out... And if the cane doesn't fit your "look and wardrobe" forget it... throw it out... Makes me think, I wonder if I can rig a "Walker" to do a routine like the dancing cane...???? By the time I figure it out and learn it well, I may need one.

I think if you look it up in the name of dancing cane you will not find it, you should look up david Copperfield or something like that, I downloaded a special of david Copperfield with a lot of show, also when he dissapears the statue of libertu pass thru the wall of china, and then there's the clip of him performinf the dancing cane when he was like 19 somehting like that its a cool video try to find it...

Juan Mayoral makes a cane that lights up. It sell between 140-200. I know Daytona Magic carries it. This is a great idea because now there is a reason to dim the lights!!

Have you ever seen, say, a N.Y. cop on the street during a parade.
They have these fairly long nightsticks (clubs) and a leather thong to grip it... They stand around with the thong over a thumb and do a lot of the Dancing Cane moves with the stick. Flourishes, spins, etc... but no DANCING.... Check it out next chance.

I agree with 'zaubern'. Juan Mayoral really has a pretty dancing cane. It looks similar to the one that Jeff McBrides uses as well. It lights up and it makes a beautiful scenerly. I guess you can have it with either blue or red light. It's a little bit pricy but if you want a really nice dancing cane then go for the Juna Mayoral dancing cane. I can recommend that!
