My wife was kind enough to buy me six one hour tennis lessons for Christmas. I'm really looking forward to improving my serve, forehand, and backhand!
I'd love to play singles next summer. I'm presently playing doubles. I plan on working upon my fitness very soon! |

Great news, but you may need more than the six hours buddy...
Take it from someone who still needs to improve his sorry serve! This is me trying to keep up with my lady on the court. Lol Now get out there, 40 Love! |

I suggest you make 12 x 30 min, rather than 6 x 1 hour, it will give you more continuity, you will be able to focus the whole 30 min, (with 1 hour you will get tire)and will learn better, I taught tennis 30 years ago when going to college as a means of making extra money and always worked better for the people shorter sessions regardless of the level of the players (mainly weekend players)
Have fun great sport |

These are not my first six lessons with my tennis teacher. I started with him over a year ago.
I played tennis for ten years (doubles) without taking any lessons. Needless to say, I did everything wrong. My tennis teacher started from scratch with me from the beginning. I've made a lot of progress, but I'm not where I feel I could be. My serve, backhand, and forehand have all been taught correctly. It's a matter of playing more, practicing more, and taking more lessons. A major swing change in my serve, forehand, and backhand will take time, patience, and a great deal of practice. However, I've notice a great deal of improvement. That adds fuel to the fire for me to exercise more and practice more. I'm looking forward to next summer. My unforced errors have come down a great deal. I love the look on their faces when I hit a nice shot. They just look at me in misbelief. My slice serve from the deuce court is really doing wonders for me. It's generating a great deal of points. I've tried 30 min. lessons before. They don't work well for me. The one hour lesson is perfect. |
