HI guys, just one quick question.
Someone know who build this illusion? Or where to get the rights?
Is in this video at minute 4.11
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGhulASI6K4&feature=related

Is an old concept but is nice the idea of using the neon. Just to know if is an original creation or someone has the rights to build it.
Thanks
:)

Isn't it just the Wakeling prop but with neon bulbs rather than spikes? Plans can be found in the Magic of Alan Wakeling. I would suspect that Chris Murphy built this prop, but that is just a guess. I don't think that anyone could possibly own the rights to changing spikes to neon bulbs, that seems a bit ridiculous to claim those type of rights. But that is just my opinion.

I LUV it also.

Don't break it down, roll it into it's own case!

So as far as rights, buy the book. It is even available in soft cover. (!!!)

As far as neon I don't think that is an issue. I have a Gaughan Sword Box with lighted swords, Chalet had their Wonder Window, their is the Light Bulbs Thru Girls (bulbs replacing the spike in the Spike Mystery) so interchanging neon or bulbs for swords has been done.

I like it!!!! Great use of the Harbin, Little by Little Method!!!!

But having said that, I have never seen a spiker combined with that method, even the old bulbs thru girl, looked like they were going thru the lady, this IS different!!!
Whomever put the spiker together with the little by little deserves to be paid rights!!

My 2 cents!!

I just pulled out my copy also and see where Alan mentioned several ways to do the "neon" part.

Just think for a disounted book ($15.00) it has some great illusion ideas!

Now we have the low voltage "neon" "sticks" for underneath cars, (which we didn't in 1993). I'm seriously going to build one of these!

Just joking Blair, on the youtube clip he started the illusion with D'Lite to light up the neon spikes... Just my silly sense of humor.
