I recently saw a deck that is similar to a one way forcing deck, but every card was a double ended card. For example, an entire deck of 7 of diamonds, but with a 9 of diamonds in one index...and that was every card. Has anyone seen a deck like this, or familiar with this idea?

Steven had a great suggestion, but wasn't exactly what I was looking for...but I probably wasn't as clear in my description. Each and every card...all 52...are the exact same, similar to a one way deck. The one difference was that one index was different. As I mentioned above, imagine that the card is a 7 of diamonds, but one index has a 9 instead of a 7...and all 52 cards are exactly the same.
If you remember the Simon Aronson routine "Red Sea Passover", take one of those cards and duplicate it 51 more times...

I kind of have a Gaffed Deck "thing" but have not heard of this. Do you happen to know if this was put out as part of a trick - for example, an effect in which this deck is just one prop? Say, part of a 2-deck effect, or an effect that uses a deck of cards, plus...?
Guess if it was, you would also know the effect, and wouldn't have posted here in the first place! I'm just thinking out loud.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Chessman, I wondered the same thing; it seems like an odd deck to be sold by itself.
Oh, and I understand the "thinking out loud" thing...my wife puts up with me doing that all the time!

We're not talking of a Monte Cristo deck here are we. Very similar but usually with a low spot card as the force rather than 7 Diamonds or some middle ranking card.

Christo, that's what I originally thought but Rick clarified that all 52 cards are exactly identical. My theory is that normally, when you order 5 or 6 specialty cards from Bicycle you do it in bulk and they send you dozens or hundreds of decks for each gaff. This deck might have originally been part of a larger set of gaffs that were not meant to be used as a single deck but rather one card from each different deck would be used to make up cards for some trick.
This might have just been a leftover. I'd be surprised if this was designed to be used as a full deck, but stranger things have happened!

I do own a deck similar to this but not quite the same, acquired from ebay years ago. Printed on the card case is "Super Magic Cards - Magician's Prediction Matches Any Selected Card!" with a handwritten copyright notice for 1987 but only first name Christopher is legible (the last name seems to be something like Kenewowsky). The deck consists of 47 red back bridge size 3Hs, each with one index being of a different card (they are not all the same) plus 3 red back normal cards (JH, KS, 3H) and a 3H with a blue back. I believe the deck originally came with directions, but they seemed to have been lost. I hope this helps.

Thanks for all the research and help, guys. I think that I'll probably end up having to get something like this custom printed which, unfortunately, isn't in the budget right now.

The more I hear everyone talk about the Monte Cristo deck, the more I think that might work for what I'm working on. Not exactly the way I wanted, but might be better.
Anyone know who sells them in the US? Didn't see them at any of my regular online shops I buy from... - Rick
