I finally did.
I don't really recommend it, but I think that watching it (and trying to figure why it sucks and Buffy rocked) has given me insight into making bizarre themes, and even just serious themes more effective. I wrote a mini "review" here http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......rum=32&4 The whole show reminds me of the time I was rehearsing "Latex hounds of hell." I wanted to be super serious and spooky, just creep the hell out of people! The problem was that my wife could not stop laughing when she heard me practicing. This was NOT the reaction I wanted. I almost cut it completely, but decided to perform sort of tongue-in-cheek instead. Amazingly, the tongue-in-cheek presentation with a slight smile made the whole presentation (theatrically) believable and it really was a pretty creepy bit. Anyways, I'd be curious in the reactions of any other Spooky-ers who have seen this.
