So I'm in NY, and some guy says "hey, buddy, look at this!"... and I watched as he had me pick a card and found it. Here's the interesting thing- it fooled me. I had no idea how he foundv the card.
The control is something called "Blind Square by Bizau Cristian, and it's new from The Blue Crown. Although I have a working relationship with TBC, the truth is I would have posted about this even if I didn't. It looks that good. But who cares what I say; trust your eyes, your brains (plural) and your powers of rational thought- check out the video yourselves! http://www.thebluecrown.com/store/blind-square.html

Ben do you know the skill level? Not that it will make a huge difference but just curious.

Hey Luke,
Since it won't make a big difference... I won't tell you! Ok, fine, I will. It's not hard at all, but it WILL take practice. Luckily its actually fun to practice (unlike my crap!) so you'll enjoy doing it AND practicing it! Ben

What's the difference between this and Ernest Earick's Bow-To-Stern?

I enjoyed Bizau Pop Fly which is why I downloaded his latest Blind Square control without much hesitation. Like Ben said earlier, after I watched the demo video I was fooled. It seemed like an excellent move and I thought the bottom control looked amazing.
The video is taught exactly the same way his Pop fly video was taught. He does the introduction, teaches the top control and a transpo effect using the top control. This transpo effect is shown in the demo with the two cards face up. He then teaches the bottom control followed by several ideas using the control such as controlling the card second from bottom or controlling the card to any position in the deck. The Top Control: The method was very different than I thought it would be and I agree with Ben that it is fun to practice. I have toyed with it for a couple of hours and I can get it to work most of the time but it will take more work. I personally felt the top control could have been taught a little clearer. Without exposing too much, the focus of the teaching was on one aspect of the move while neglecting what I thought was a crucial step. Because of this I had trouble accomplishing the move when I first started practicing it but after a few more viewings of the video, I was able to figure out the necessary adjustments to get it to work. The angles on the Top control are fairly decent. You cannot have people behind you and ideally you wouldn’t want them on your extreme sides. Important to note: I have only practiced this in the mirror and have tested my angles using the mirror as well. The side angles could probably be covered with proper blocking. The move is not hard. You will be able to do the basic mechanics on your first or second try. What is hard is getting it to look as good as when Bizau does it. Bottom Control: I personally like this control better than the top control. It seemed so fair to me in the Demo video and once I watched the explanation I smiled. It is a great idea. So far, I have not been able to do the bottom control properly. It feels very foreign to my hands and will take more practice than the top control to get the proper mechanics down. I like it though so I will keep trying. =) Overall I enjoyed the download and hopefully I can tackle the bottom control. Take Care. Ryan |

Got this Download today, really nice piece of work and quite easy to do if you have handled cards for a bit. Been playing around with this all day as I'm dying to get this into my ambitious card routine ! Also I'm sure it will work really well with Any Signed Card To Spectators Wallet.

I don't know what's going on with magic creator's these days. They use carefully worded ad-copy to their benefit i.e. "from the mind of Bizau Cristian". But then they take someone else's move add one little thing and market it as their own (hopefully with the original creator's permission & credit). I'll admit that Bizau Cristian's Blind Square also has a bottom control. I don't even know why Blue Crown bothered releasing this as Theory 11 recently released High Rise which is also based on Ernest Earick's Bow-To-Stern. Regards, mantel |

Nice move, but I wasn't fooled with the top control. Will work for laymen if you've got it fluid.

I am also surprised that it is written in the ad "Fresh from the mind of Bizau Cristian"... which is NOT true at all.

We "bothered" to release it because this video includes much more than just one control. It teaches 2 controls, 2 transpo effects, ways of combining both controls to simultaneously control 2 cards, 1 to the top, 1 to the bottom, and a bonus elevator effect that looks incredible. All for $10? If that's not a kick-*** deal I don't know what is

Nothing new here.
To Ben Train: with your experience, you didn't know how that was accomplished? |

Hey Bane thanks for the reply. I don't know why I wrote, "not that it will matter"?!
