Robert Palmer the singer (Some Guys Have All the Luck, Addicted to Love) died while on holiday in Paris today, aged 54 years. Sad, sad loss to the music industry. He wasn't interested in the glitzy side of the business, only writing and performing good music.
What? No one else sad to see his passing? And I thought everyone on here appreciated good music. Howard Just a means of bringing it to the forefront of this forum!! |

I liked his music a lot.
It's weird, people (not just celebrities) are dying young this year. Ellen |

Palmer had one of the classiest performing personas of anyone in the 80's. He was proof that you could wear a suit and not be a square. He also had more talent than 95% of the so-called "singers" on the radio today. I was really bummed out when I heard about his passing.
