Terry Knutsen aka Terry Teen aka "Clownzo" was a gentlemean who achieved some notoriety in the 1960s with a novelty song, "Curse of the Hearse" (this, during the "Monster Mash" era). Sadly, Terry passed away last week following a very bad accident which occurred along the outskirts of Tyler, Texas.
He was a complicated man, and certainly had his shortcomings, but he was a great clown, a patient teacher of magic and a talented musician. Terry, who probably spent no more than 3 hours per month on the internet, was probably unknown to most people here; he did play a bit part in one sketch on the tv show, "In Living Color".....featuring Homie D Clown a very long time ago, and had very minor roles in a few films including "Child's Play", "Little Nicky" and "The Man in the Moon", among others. RIP, Terry......you contributed a'lot to our art.
His face isn't really this long in-person!
