Space Walking Coins:
I received what was supposed to be a brand new Space Walking Coins today and there were no coins in the box. The instructions mention "the coins used in this trick are 9 palming coins (Tenyo made) or 9 half-dollar coins of U.S.A." It does not specifically say the coins are included. Also the black and clear horizontal piece is quite sloppy as far as glue being applied during the assembly. Is this something others have seen with their SWC. Can anyone shed some light on this? Ninja Experiment: I now know why when you see a listing for an opened Ninja Experiment, it never includes the pencils. Because the trick does not come with pencils. You have to supply your own. I am certain of this because I just opened a shrink-wrapped Ninja and it did not have pencils and the instructions confirm this. Great trick by the way. Please let me know about the Space Walking Coins. AA |

Hey AA, my Space Walking coins came in the box and there were no coins with mine. If you get a chance can you take a close-up picture of the top of your coin "cather" were the coins are slid in. I am wondering if mine may have had some work done to it in the past. Works fine just not sure if it is the original finish. Thanks,

The "coin catcher" section is where I see the sloppy glue marks. Is that what you are seeing?

Yeah, not sure the end cover on mine is 100% original. Does yours hinge or slide on and off?

My 'cover' misses a sidepiece I think. But even when this missing piece would be attached it would just 'slide' on the end and come off when a coin would touch it ... .
I never performed the trick to be honest, I think I would just neatly tape/close the end with something should I ever show it to someone, or just keep it closed with my finger when shaking/making the coins appear Mine also didn't come with the Tenyo Tokens. Perhaps they were sold (seperately?) in Japan en Tenyo thought the USA version could just use the Half Dollars? |

I have mine hinged with a small piece of black tape, works well and blends in nicely with the other black lines on the piece.

Mine is hinged with thick clear tape which failed so the piece came off.
One of the sidepiece from my cover was loose in the box. |

Space Walking Coins does NOT include the coins.
The adhesive in the tape used to hold together the coin case dries up over time and the tape falls off, leaving the plastic in pieces. The whole thing is pretty poorly constructed. |

That's exactly what I got one Brand New poorly constructed trick.

I would qualify that the coin holder is OK the "coin catcher" has some quality issues. It does look pretty in the display case though.

If you are referring to the purple base with magic wand pole and purple horizontal piece as the coin holder, then I agree that is fine. It is obviously mass produced.
The coin catcher would then be the black and clear piece, that looks to be hand made and that's where the low quality issues come in. AA |

I'll bet that the coin holder is IDEALLY designed to hold lighter/ palming/ Tenyo coins as mentioned. The reason I think is that my plastic end piece fell right off after practicing a couple times with American half dollars when I got my used version a while ago. Either the glue doesn't hold after time...or it never was designed for half dollars. The opposite hinged end...also shows what appears to be some non-original tape.
