A customer at the restaurant sent me this pic from last night. I was asked last evening for Rapunzel and had never done one before. I know her face isn't that great looking (which I have now fixed), but any suggestions to make this better would be greatly appreciated. I don't really have a great princess structure. I remember seeing sometime ago a bride that someone made and I did the best I could to recreate the dress from what I could remember...

When you say you fixed her face I don't know what you had to fix the head my be a bit large but I think your art work is fine I don't see the need for much improvement
the smile on your customers face says it all but I am guessing your like a lot of us in that we can be our own worse critics and always think there is something missing |

The face doesn't look very "girly"...I just didn't want to use the face I use on my Ariel b/c she's had Ariel before and she's a stickler for details like that...she would have called me out if the face was the same.
I can certainly make the head a tad smaller... Any other suggestions are welcome...good or bad?

Christopher....It's all subject to artistic interpretation, but here's what I do when I make Repunzel. I usually tie in two yellow 260's at the base of her neck after creating the hair on her head. I spiral the two 260's and this creates hair that is extremely long. There is no doubt that it is Repunzel.

I just used a single 260 at the base of her neck...I could certainly add a 2nd or even a 3rd...

I've found it's the little details that make the sculptures special. Of course, it's a balance between adding details and the amount of time that you have. If you have the time you could also add a bow to the end of the pony tail. I do like the use of the agate for a quick way to add something different. I personally would have made the bangs in front much smaller and done a much simpler face, but that is my style and maybe not yours. As I said in the previous post, it's all up to artistic impression. Keep up the good work!

I use the tower hat on Bad to the Balloon add a room up top and make a 160 princess and fully inflate the 160 for the hair wrapping it around the tower.

Christopher,
I use: 4 lilac 350's for the bottom of dress 1 Pink 350 for top of dress. 1 blush 5 inch round for head. 1 blush 260 for arms and hands 1 yellow 260 for for hair like your 2 yellow 260 spiral together for long hair. I put in on there head as hat that way the person is the tower |

Here is the one I have been using for a while. I have tried many of them, including the Fantasy Princess DVD, but this is the one I keep going back to. I also make it out of 360s which makes it a floor piece that looks amazing if I'm doing more decor.
