I'm trying to attach yellow 260's to an 11 inch round to make hair. I can't seem to get it right at all. I'm bringing the balloons down around the head and using the nozzle on the bottom to tie it to, but It's a mess. Any suggestions?

Are you using a raisin twist to attach the hair at the top of the balloon?

I think I would go for the raisin twist, or glue dots...

I almost always use raisins for hair. Here is a picture of a Fancy Nancy I did using a hair technique I like to use. It uses a raisin in the top of the forehead, and a combination of spiraled and straight 160's split in half and twisted into the raisin. The 160 halves are wrapped around the head and twisted together in the back. A balloon bow is tied around the twisted part in the back to hide the twists.

Raisin twists are the way to go. I love using Rubber Cement for the bigger projects, but raisin twists work fantastic. Much easier than a side bubble for me.

Since using raisin twists I've been able to do a really cute Hello Kitty. I've seen some use glue dots for the bow, and while it is easier and a bit of a time saver, I find I like the way the bow stands up on the head with the raisin twist. Thanks again for the link Lady Chanty.
