I love the idea of coffee shop magic. It's down and dirtier than a restaurant so you can try out more naughty things. Also people don't feel as civilised in a coffee shop as to a restaurant so more fun can be had
Does anybody do this or have they had too may bad experiences? If you still do it, what works for you? |

This is SOOOO subjective, and assumptive. I've been to coffee shops in many different places, and it really needs to be defined that some are like bars, and others are like tea rooms. "Naughty" is a state of mind. In some places, it would make you a super-star... in others, it would get you kicked to the curb.
Personally, I'd feel more civilized sitting in a coffee shop than I would sitting in a TGIFridays, so I guess it depends on the restaurant, too.
