I've found some old playing cards from an estate sale, at a yard sale. The guy who's selling them says they are 30-50 years old. Most are in good condition, with several packs in old drawer boxes.
My questions are; Is it possible that any of these are valuable? How can I check? if not are there any effects that I could use the old drawer boxes for? Definition: "old Drawer boxes" the packages that the playing cards came in when new. They didn't come in packs like we get today, just a square cardboard holder open on both ends, and a tray that the cards sat in. Thanks Steve zzz Ps I am going to go see what he'll take for the whole bag. if it's cheap enough, I'll buy it. If not, I'll come back and check for any responses. Z |

Yeah, I had some of those that my old company "R.E. Thibaut Wallcoverings" used to have lying around in the back.

I've heard so many stories of treasures found at estate sales. What are they, exactly, and how can I get to one?

Estate sales are where people die and they go and sell all their stuff. It is hit and miss as far as what you will find. Our local paper does list some things but mostly it is a broad description.
Check you local paper usually in the classified section. Jeff |
