Allan Ackerman has two different video series.
Allan Ackerman's Advanced Card Control is an eight volume video series that explains a variety of sleights. These sleights are then used in several effects - Volume 1 Palming Volume 2 False Deals Volume 3 Controls Volume 4 Flourishes, Lifts and Changes Volume 5 Shuffle Work Volume 6 The Faro Shuffle Volume 7 False Counts Volume 8 Utility Moves The other Allan Ackerman videos are a two volume set Las Vegas Card Expert Every Move A Move These also explain several sleights and then again use them in several effects. The eight volume series is obviously more comprehensive. There is some overlap, although from memory, I do not think that there is too much. The earlier two volume set covers some of the material from his earlier books, "Here's My Card" and "The Esoterist". I do remember that "The Slip Shod" get ready for the Zarrow Shuffle is on the Shuffle Work video and also on one of the earlier videos. |

That's what I'm confused about...at http://www.abra4magic.com I found The Las Vegas Card Expert vol 1-8...I'm wondering if they are actually the same as the Allan Ackerman's Advanced Card Control series...
Uppsss..no no no...sory, my mistake...they are the same...maybe it's just the web that wants to spice things up a bit...so they put up big writing 'THE LAS VEGAS CARD EXPERT' above the video series....thx heaps Ian... |
