I'd be interested to note what people are doing to maintain their bridge jumping cuffs.

My philosophy has always been that water isn't one of the best things for handcuffs. So after the jump I usually blow them out with compressed air and apply a liberal amount of WD40. Then wipe clean.

Any other comments to protect ones investment?

My wife, Kristen Johnson, takes care of the cuffs, leg irons and neck shackle used in her water torture cell by cleaning them with Gun Scrubber solvent/degreaser.
Then she lubricates them with Rem Oil, a gun oil from Remington. The Rem oil also contains a teflon lubricant, of which I am a big fan of, even more so that WD-40.

Hope that helps.
