Do you believe that since conciousness exist, that there is a Supreme Conciousness, that is aware of everything?
Where we are all one at that level.

No, there is no Supreme consciousness that is aware of everything, at least on these boards. Otherwise it would know about all these TOS violating threads and have deleted them by now.

There is some interesting thoughts on this. Starting with Jung's Collective Unconscious. but I believe Jung applied more a sense of shared time and place to create his theory, although I'm no expert on it. Then there is the true fact that every sentient being shares common dna, and thus ancestry. We actually share DNA with wheat, one of the more interesting byproducts of the human genome project. Now you can tell your friends when they say we were descendent from apes, we are actually descendent from your breakfast cereal. All live shares a common root.
that idea is certainly much more fascinating to me than the entire history of religious thought and boggles the imagination: every single thing that is alive: animals, plants, all of it stems from a single source. How did that happen? What was the original dna strand that kicked it all off, my god much more fascinating and awe inspiring than wondering if I'll be tossed in hell for sleeping with my neighbor's wife. |

Kind of reminds me of a South East Asian creation myth that I read about in one of Joseph Campbell's wonderful works:
In the beginning, the One divided itself into everything that exists, but willed that all of the parts would forget where they came from. The object of the game was for each part to remember. |

Shoot, I thought this was going to be another discussion about the impending overturn of the Affordable Health Care Act by the Supremes.
