I'm looking to pick up a few rope through body gimmicks, sets that are already made using the screw gimmick. Can anybody tell me who is making them these days? Any recommendations on a well-made, durable one?

Bob doesn't make them anymore. He simply originated a routine for the Tarbell gimmicks, he didn't invent the gimmicks and doesn't offer them for sale.

Any other ideas?

You might find "Braco's Miracle Rope Gimmicks" still available. I couldn't find any available after a quick search, but you still might find someone who has them and is willing to sell them.

I'm in the process of making more Rope-u-tations, but, as always with this effect, it's difficult to build. Something ALWAYS comes up. This time, the company that makes magician's rope has changed the diameter, and they've left out the core of the rope, as well. The gimmicks that I had were perfect for the old rope, but, now that I've run out of rope, and have the new rope, I have to re-tool my gimmicks to work with the new rope. I'm waiting for shipments of the elements of the gimmick to make it narrow enough to not cause a bulge in the rope.

I'll keep you updated...

Does "Darryl's encyclopedia of rope magic" refer to his DVD series "Expert Rope Magic Made Easy by Daryl"? Does anyone know which of the three films describes the rope through body trick? Thank you in advance.
