I love the Aleister photo on the wall at the Lovecraft bar.

Better late than never - REH was one of Lovecraft's many pen pal's. Lovecraft held special interest in his fellow writers and wrote many thousands of letters to both fans and writer friends. Lovecraft encouraged any other writers who wished, to adopt concepts from his popular Great Old Ones and his writer fans and friends did so. Sometimes only vaugely and sometimes in very specific direct ways. Besides REH's wonderful stories, Clark Ashton Smith took Lovecraft ideas even more to heart but there are many others including the greatest current and still living Lovecraft tradition writer Brian Lumley.
