"The Great Illusions of Magic" by Byron Wels; and the book about Carl Owen (the guy that Wels stole all the blueprints from) "Keep the Wheels Turning". Both sources have the Owen Prediction Chest plans; if you're planning on building one I hope you're a top notch machinist...

Your are right Mr. Alberstat, we forgot so many times about this wonderful book.....thanks for the reminder....but actually it's more the old look and the kind with key injection that is in my mind....
Thanks Kuffs |

The problem with those particular types of chests however is their unreliability not to mention the fact that while you have a large chest, the prediction itself is written on a tiny piece of paper that is rolled up. The mechanism that shoots the paper many times will misalign and miss, thus the prediction appears outside the smaller box. Not as reliable as it could be. I myself prefer my own version of the Bally Ho prediction that can be sealed inside a large, ungimmicked chest., one I am more than happy to send you via private e-mail if you send me a note to paul@mindguy.com PSIncerely Yours, Paul Alberstat |
