Guys, I have good news!!!
My online student from Scotland, who is also a Café member (-The Scot-) got third place at the YMOTY of Scotland. HUUURRRAAAAHHHHHH!!! Naturally I am happy with his success but I wonder why my students always get the third place? Probably I am a third class mentor...I predict, Kevin is an upcoming star and we will hear about him soon. It is just another award for the Café. Yuppppppieee.

Hey that's great news! Congrats to you both!
Coming in third is good in my books..and looking at it optomistically...first is only around the corner. It's something to strive for and still it only means something as long as you enjoy the steps to get there. Keep up the good work Tora and you seem like a first class mentor! (I'm thinking they should have a smilie with a trophy at the Café) |

Thanks for the kind words, I was pleased with achieving third place as it was my first competition, and I beat a few good acts (one illusion act) with only a rope routine.
Thanks again. |

Congratulations Tora and The Scot!
Wow, third place in your very first contest! That's great! I agree with Chrystal, Tora. You have to be a first class teacher.
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.

I think I scored below the minimum required score to even be able to place on my first contest (IBM). Way to go!

I think the best part was that you just used a rope act. It must have been very well put-together. Congrats!

Congratulations Kevin and Tora.
There is nothing that remains so constant as change. Don't end up like concrete, all mixed up and permanently set.
