Just spotted this:
It's PIMP Monday! Cathy Shadows: PIMP (Practical Intuition for Mystery Performers) is now available to pre-order. Pre-order last only until Wednesday as the book is ready to roll and will be released on Friday 24th August. Full details below: Cathy Shadows: PIMP (Practical Intuition for Mystery Performers) by Paul Voodini is now available to pre-order at £18. This full length (approx. 50 page) PDF will be available to pre-order until midnight on Wednesday 15th August 2012. It will be officially released on Friday 24th August when the price will increase to £36. The release date is designed to tie in with Paul's lecture 'In the Shadow of Cathy' which he will be presenting alongside Luke Jermay and Chris Rawlins at the Real Mind-Readers seminar in York, UK on Saturday 25th August. Paul writes: "When I accidentally bumped into Cathy several months ago, little did I know the impact that she would have on me and the wider mentalism community. Cathy comes from a purely esoteric background and has a wonderful innocence because of it. After she showed me a few demonstrations of pure intuition, I was excited to bring these ideas to the mentalism community. It was a bit of a step into the unknown. I had no idea how the ideas presented in the short PDF Cathy Shadows: Doing it for Real would be received. Happily the book became a 'hit' and I received nothing but good feedback. This gave both Cathy and I the confidence to meet again, discuss more ideas, and present a more in-depth and perhaps even more ground-breaking PDF in PIMP (Practical Intuition for Mystery Performers). "I have always stated that I do not expect mentalists to suddenly throw down the traditional tools of their trade and embrace to idea of 'practical intuition' at the exclusion of all else. What I stated in Doing it For Real and will state again is the idea that there are 3 ways mentalists can incorporate this work into their own world. If they are esoteric performers then the ideas can be taken and used 'as is' with little or no change. If they are traditional mentalists who wish to inject some new ideas into their performances and perhaps add a touch of the unknown, then these ideas and routines can be sprinkled into performances to add a touch of drama or changes of pace and feel. Finally, if the mentalist does not wish to add any displays of practical intuition, then the routines presented by Cathy can be used as back-stories and justifications for more gimmicked mentalism. All of the routines presented here (and in Doing it for Real) are easily gimmicked using traditional mentalism tools. "I honestly believe that PIMP is my most ground-breaking and exciting work since Midnight Side of the Mind." The PDF includes 6 routines for developing and demonstrating intuition, a reading technique called Blind Man's Tarot, and a full three phase routine entitled 3 Questions that is ideal for stage, parlor or close-up and could easily form the basis of a full stage show. Do not be fooled into thinking this PDF is only of interest for readers. This is a publication aimed at performers (both the enthusiast and the seasoned pro). Even Blind Man's Tarot can be used on stage, in the parlor, or at the close-up table. These are practical routines for practical mentalists who want routines that are borne of the real world. Both Cathy and Paul are used to working in front of real people in the real world. That is why this PDF presents to you Practical Intuition. Available from: http://www.readerofminds.co.uk/ |
