To this day, it still amazes me how the simplest of things can totally blow away an audience. This morning, I performed for a "Back to School" event that was attended by approximately 500 people, a mixture of children and their parents. During my set, I performed BOTH The Mighty Mini and Cube a Libre. They were the two highlights of my act today.
After the show, everyone was asking about both of those routines. Adults were mystified by the Cubes and everyone thought I was a Master Hypnotist with The Mighty Mini. Thanks Gimpy for continuing to produce quality magic for the working professional. Much appreciated!

Hey Chris. Do you use the "surface" Gimpy sells for the mini?

Lou,
I do not. I have never seen the need for it. I have never had an issue finding a usable surface at the performing venue. It's a non issue IMO.

Christopher,
Thanks for the nice comments I am so pleased to see you getting some miles out of the what I build. I had someone ask me how Lay audiences recieve the Cube a libre. To be honest I don't perform it other than at conventions. So I would be interested in how lay audiences are reacting fron those doing it. Thanks to all who left nice comments above, it is just great to hear. Thanks again, Gimpy

When I perform "the cubes" all I get is dropped jaws and looks of shock. Matters not the age. Young and old alike! What surprises me is just how many magicians have no idea how these are performed! I still remember demonstrating this at the World Magic Seminar in Vegas and have both Dean Dill and Jeff McBride walk up to me after my demo show to shake my hand and say I fried them both very hard! Gimpy props are beyond awesome. They work so well and are so easy to master that the performer can really focus on the presentation!

Ya know, honestly...I have NO idea how Cube...works! It's one trick that fools me, and that is rare. I absolutely LOVE being fooled by magic! That one does it!

I got a Gimpys mighty mini (not the collector)light and heavy box and I must say that's the best I have ever had.
Very well constructed and very vintage/ treasure chest looking I usually combine it with some hypnotic effect.

Something new has been developed combining the Mighty mini with my lighter light heavy box (the cardboard version). Some are pulling the mighty mini out of the card board box, performing the routine then repeating the light heavy effect with the empty box it came out of. I understand this has been playing very well.
Kiketron, Sorry that I missed your post a few months ago but still wanted to thank you for your kind comments. Glad to hear its working good for you. Gimpy

Joan,
Sorry I missed your reply from last year but wanted to say thank you for your comments even though I'm a bit late. I just opened a new shop this summer about an hour from the old shop and am planning to release some new products and will be letting all of our former customers know of the new stuff we have to offer. Of course we will still be producing many of the items from the past. Gimpy
