The site Celebrity Networth has the following estimates of net worth:
Derren Brown 7.5 million David Blaine 12 million Criss Angel 18 million David Copperfield 150 million Derren seems quite low. I would has suspected Blaine was worth more too (although he performs so seldom I am not sure how he makes his money) |

Actually, these numbers make economic sense (and cents). Even though these individuals generate a lot of revenue, they also have huge expenses (costs of production) which drives down profit, or net income. David Copperfield has done the best job of managing these costs.

I suspect that site may not be accurate. Derren Brown Maybe and Copperfield yes. But Derren does a lot of work. And Copperfield does a LOT of work.
If they're worth that much it must be off merchandising aka selling out, then again I'm no expert. DD |

Maybe he is constantly working and I am not aware of it but his TV specials are maybe once every couple years, no stage show, no Vegas act, no books (at least not recently), etc. Whereas the others either are working Vegas or touring. |

Or the one where he does card tricks while holding his breath?

My point was, yes he is working but only for the high dollar huge social events most would not know exist in this world, There are people that want only the most famous and best in there minds and reputations.
And I would not rule out he did make that much at that event, just doing some close-up magic. He lives in the world of high rollers and jet setters, with very good people supporting him, who also live in that world. Years ago when he did that round ball of water on Opera Show, he said he does private appearances to build his income to be able to do the television specials. |

Also from Celebrity Networth: Teller was born in Pennsylvania and has an estimated net worth of $175 million dollars. One half of the comedy/illusion/magic duo, Penn and Teller with partner Penn Jillette, Teller rarely makes a sound during their act, and has only spoken aloud a handful of times while performing. When not onstage, he is an outspoken atheist and libertarian.

Blaine has also been doing a special act where he is in a fish tank, doing a full performance. It sounds wonderful and had a write up in one of the magazines.
He keeps busy, spot light isn't the only place to make money |
