Hello, my name is Dennis Callahan and I started magic as a teen had the opportunity to work on stage with Harlen Tarbell. So you know that I am over 21 and not old to be a wal Mart greeter!
I trained troops in Tae Kwon Do in Korea and was raked #3 in blackbelts in Soul Korea. I spent 22+ years in the ministry and now retired (so to speak) and trying to catch up with all the new effects , slights, and termology. I would like to get into restrant magic so I am puting my time in learing and relearing. If I ask a dumb question, please forgive me as so much has changed. Thanks Dr. D. M. Callahan

Welcome to the Café. It sounds like you have some valuable life experiences that will flavor your contributions. I have recently found myself doing some work in rerstraunts and other similar settings (Strolling situations). I came across a decent book titled "The Restaurant Workers Handbook" by J Pace & J MacGregor (1996). These blokes have been working in this field for a while and I found it a worthwhile read. I look forward to reading contributions around the dinning room. Troppo Bob |

Welcome to the Café, Dennis. This is a great place to hang out which I'm sure you've already discovered. You'll soon learn there are no dumb questions here except the ones that aren't asked. Have fun and visit often.

Welcome.
For restaurant magic (and all magic in the world) the Café is the right place to start. I once was a Tae Kwon Do student - by me, welcome twice.
