Bill Simon's Business Card Prophesy.

It's relatively quick, it's cool as all get-out, it leaves them with your business card, and the card with which it leaves them is one on which you've written a prediction, which encourages them to tell their friends about you whilst showing their friends the proof of your coolness.

What could be better than that?

Yup.

One might go so far as to say that you already have everything you need in your pockets.

(If you haven't, something's seriously wrong.)

I actually do an effect based off this in another set. Love the move in there Smile

Chop cup is actually my "VIP" routine. So people who are friends of the owner etc. get that one. I do Mult. Bunnies and some other goodies as well with the OTL and my business cards.

I actually ended up taking out the Mult Selection and moved it elsewhere. The routine for this set moved into:

3cm
"ring on wand" style routine that has multiple modular phases to close (similar to Danny Tong's but without the ring flight he used)

It's going well so far and has been fun with the few test performances I gave it. The ring is used to bet where the money card is originally and ends with it "gift wrapped" for them.

Thanks everyone for the ideas I really enjoyed them and value the help greatly.

Ideck, not really a card trick, but it has an audible vs. visual reveal. It is pretty much instant reset, but it isn't "quick". It would be my closer if I was working a resturaunt.

I always hear magi talking about bending flatware while tablehopping, but I've always thought that might set a bad example (ie you leave the table and the guests start bending their spoons just to see if they can, etc).

I'd imagine the management would not like seeing guests walking out of the place with bent silverware in hand.

I understand its a very organic trick in the restaurant environment, but seems in bad taste?

Anyone want to comment on this?

I love doing metal bending, but very reluctant to do it tablehopping...

Best,
Jim

Yea metal bending. Mentalism or vandalism?

Send me a PM so we don't derail a perfectly good thread.

(like hey its the time to try the latest purchase!)
closers : memories and souvenirs for everybody.
