THIS is bizarre magic.

Interesting. Specially the razor blade trick with just one blade. Makes you ask why we do that effect with multiple blades? Tradition? Reminds me of Max Maven on his Multiplicity DVD with Eugene Burger, where he shows that a trick with just 50/50 instead of a million to one odds can play very strong with the right presentation.

Needle was the best. Well done with only a slight bit of incongruency at one point. Passes muster in my book.
Suicide would have been much better had they not used the same music Dan Sperry used on AGT. It would also be creepier if instead of suddenly "having" some thread handy, if she'd maybe pulled out a strand of that long hair and used it. Otherwise the concept was great. Glass had no meaning other than its inherent creepiness. I've worked with glass eaters. Good premise upon which to build.

I agree Michael. The overall concepts were VERY good. Needle did have a weak moment that perhaps should have been caught in post production. The use of negative filming gave it a clean look in a crisp, clear way. Clever.
Perry Como backs up bizarre magic? Different. Entertaining. But Michael's point about using a long hair is outstanding theater, and so in line with the effect. Perchance, someone who knows aliveness can pass that along.

Floss makes more sense than thread, but watching again it seemed to be on the floor and right at hand. I'm not complaining heavily though. I did think the vignettes were creepy and well done.

Concerning the hair idea, perhaps a black thread, planted by the ear, may work.
Maybe even the smokey invisible sewing thread may provide the look and movement of hair rather than cotton thread.
