So, this year I made the decision to swap paid work for a charity event and my straitjacket for a microphone.

This Halloween saw the first Escape for Life event in Wakefield, Yorkshire, UK.

Antony Briton had the idea of creating an event that was free to attend, but would hopefully be spectacular enough that it inspired people to dig out some cash and donate to Macmillan Cancer Support..... And the people of Wakefield didn't disappoint!

Antony performed a burning rope SJ escape. Used three ropes, two burned through in spectacular style, and was suspended over a river 50ft up.

Despite the wind and rain people came out to watch and donate. I played host and had fun getting the crowd going and commentating on the escape. It was fun and really seemed to work well.
