New blog post about this weekend's trip to Minnesota and what goes along with travel as an entertainer.

Most of my travel is by car, driving anywhere between 3 and 9 hours a day in order to do a show the same evening, but since I’m represented by a national entertainment agency, I do occasionally have to travel long distances for a show. This often makes for exhausting, yet great experiences. This past Friday I had a show at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. I flew from Hartford, CT and transferred in Philly. I’ve been to Philadelphia many times, but never outside the airport. Therefore, philosophically I can’t even be sure Philly exists as anything but an airport. Geno's and Pat's cheese steaks! One of the great perks of working the road is some great food if you know where to look, of course followed by the workout room at the hotel.

Good venue, Hamline U. There are several other colleges in and around the twin city area that are GREAT! St Olaf college, St Thomas, Carleton all have excellent audiences and pay well for performers.

Gino's, and Pat's are just two Philly cheese steak shops. There's Jim's, Abner's, Tony Lukes, Pete's, DeNicks, Delesandro's, and about 200 other steak shops. We are also famous for our Philly hoagies, and the legendary Italian hot pork sandwich. If you are going to Philly make sure you have a lot of time, and a jumbo appetite. In Philly you can where a Dallas Cowboy shirt but wear it at your own risk. Mindpro & Brian Next time you are in Philly either give me a call, or head straight to the Reading Terminal market for a gourmet smorgasbord. Now I'm hungry

Every time I've been to Philly it's been flying, and only transferring with less than an hour layover. No time!
