My wife and I did a tour here. It was unnerving at times hearing the many ghostly encounters while taking the tour.

It can be found here: http://www.theoldjailmuseum.com/tours.html

The Old Jail is a good tour. Sad that four men were hung after a sham trial.

Also try to check out the Opera House http://mauchchunkoperahouse.com/ . It was an old vaudeville house and many ghostly things have been rumored to have happened there.

For insight into the area the Mauch Chunk Museum http://www.mauchchunkmuseum.com/ is a nice small museum with very nice and knowledgeable staff.

Thank you for the additional links!

My wife and I did get a chance to visit the Mauch Chunk Museum.
