Well The Who rocked so hard I am going back on Sunday night. Seriously.
They played the famous Entwisle Bass solo, and the Keith Moon vocals were cut in with video of both!!! Not many raise the roof with a bass solo that lasts almost 4 minutes, and is on video. As he said you can play the bass lines, or you can play the bass guitar. Townsend had to leave the stage as he put the whammy bar through his hand AGAIN! Daltry got angry about smoke because of his alergy. Hard Rock has only 4,000 seats. We had a VIP table with drink service. Man it was cool. They are as good as ever. What a show. Oh and the CSI set they do to close is insane! Baba O'riley, Won't Get Fooled Again, Who Are You, all after Quad! Daltry can't be 70. They are not just a novelty act draging their old bones around the stage.

After seeing The Who twice in Vegas I was scheduled to leave for Puerto Vallarta. Problem I didn't count on was the flu. Stuck in Chicago for a week waiting to get better.
Got out today. Now I am here till April. Gotta say this is the most Mexican of the Mexican destinations. It is beautiful. Then to Spain and Dubai. Not sure which order, depends on how long I am needed here! Not as much fun as it reads. Except for seeing The Who. That rocked.

For me, this year so far has been very reasonable in terms of travel. I nailed a showcase at the NACA (National Association for Campus Activities) Northeast Conference back in November, so my entire spring college tour filled up with schools that are within a few hours driving from where I live in Connecticut. It's been really nice to be home for friends, the girlfriend, and to enjoy my hobbies in between shows. Life is good right now!

Congrats on getting into a very tough market. Very tough. I could never crack it if I tried.

I stayed in Puerto Vallarta until the 15th of April. On the 16th to Vegas half for fun. Then home for 8 days. Shockingly the dogs do remember me!
Then to Chica for a day and off to Madrid. Will be here till the 24th of May, and in the next week fly to Dubai for a meeting. 24th to Chicago to see my niece graduate the first week of June and see Patrick Flanagan In June at some point one more trip to Vegas for a meeting. Hopefully the summer is spent at home, but I seriously doubt it. Not as much fun as it may seem.

At the risk of Andrew using it against me for some reason I share the following.
I get to go home!!!! Been in Chicago for my nieces graduation and luckily to see the Blackhawks. I have to come back up to pick up a Harley I bought and drive it home. Hopefully the Blackhawks make it to the finals so we can go watch. That is all personal stuff and cool. I am home for the summer mostly. No planned long runs out till Christmas time.

I fully expect to use it against you at some point.
Isn't it unbelievably humid there during the summertime? I was out there in August a few years ago and WOW. Maybe the dry heat of California has spoiled me.

Chicago for whatever reason is unreal humid.
But to be fair the oven is dry heat and I don't want to spend time there. But DEFINITELY I agree about Chicago.

We were in Springfield, Missouri (my family owns a trucking company out there) and I vowed never to return when the air is that thick.

Well Chicago is worse believe it or not. 10 hours north.
I live half hour from Springfield. Springfield trivia for ya. I know according to Hollywood a gunfight in the streets took place every five minutes. But in reality it was as quite rare. In Springfield Mo. Wild Bill was involved in one of the few ever doccumented. There ya go. Doubt you care LOL.

I'm gonna ask my cousin about that the next time I talk to him. In all the years we've been related he has never ONCE mentioned seeing a gunfight in the streets of Springfield, so I'm inclined to believe you on this one.
